Who What Wear from Target!

When asked who designed the the new top I bought last weekend, my response has been Who What Wear. Then their response is “wait, no I asked you.” Not going to lie, it is quite a comical back and forth, but in all seriousness the website Who What Wear is amazing, you need to know all about it and become a fan like myself!  Their site is the perfect place for your go-to fashion news, trends, and all things shiny and pretty for any girl, any size, any lifestyle, which I love!

When I got the news that Who What Wear is starting a line with Target I almost fell out of my swivel chair in excitement (literally, it got weird).  So Ellie B on a Budget and I made our way to our local Target to check out the selection, which was absolutely amazing!  There was the perfect combo of your basic go-tos all the way to your unique special occasion pieces.  Everything from pleather jackets, to cargo vests, midi skirts, and so much more is in the collection.  My favorite was the bright yellow and cobalt floral pattern tank which is seen in my photos below that was also was on skirts, dresses, and silky scarves! It was so great to see a selection of items that were in XL and size 14 #praisehands! More photos to come on my Instagram, stay tuned and get to Target STAT before all these beauties from Who What Wear are gone!

Keepin it Casual…

While heading out for my weekend Whole Foods run where I make my usual goal of spending a certain amout, but in reality at the checkout line I spend a wholllllle lot more than I want to…see what I did there.  I feel like someday I may end up on intervention, the Whole Foods Edition.

When running out the door I wanted to share with you all my outfit of choice that doesn’t look like I literally wore my pajamas to the grocery store(tempting).  I went for the “keepin it casual” look.  You know the look where you want to look like your not trying, but come on that is hard!  So this was my attempt, trying to not try, but I tried…you get the picture!

Outfit deets are as follows: Flannel top is from Theo’s Vintage Shop.  Use promocode Catherine15 on their Mystery Flannel section of their website and you will get 15% off your order!  Top under the flannel is from Target for under $20 and layers perfectly!  Jeans are from the site Royalty For You which can be found on TJ Maxx or online!  The material is amazing with the feel of a yoga pant, but the look of the perfect jean fit!  Shoes are from Old Navy which were about under $30.  I wore these during my entire trip to Paris which consisted of ALOT of walking, but my feet stayed comfy and dry!  Also, the crossbody purse has a bit of a suede feel and was under $40 from Old Navy, which pairs perfect with any look!

“Stay casual San Diego” oh I am on a roll today!

Is there such thing as pumpkin spice apparel?

Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice candles, pumpkin spice sweets, pumpkin spice pumpkin, pumpkin spiced pumpkin spice…wait is it fall?  Oh yes, the hashtag #pumpkinspice everything has risen and even though I have a sensitive tummy to the fall fav, I am all aboard the fall train!  When changing over my wardrobe from summer to fall a single tear drop fell into my bin of summer sandals and dresses as a sad farewell. Is there such thing as seasonal seperation anxiety?  I guess I will WebMD that later.

Then I busted out my knee high boots and cozy scarves and I was then like “oh, hey you guysssssss I have missed you!”  After my rendezvous of joining up my old fall clothes with the new items that are in my closet wanted to share with you my new fall favs for under $40!

The military style jacket that sinches in the waist gives you the industrial kind of feel, but still feminely shapes to your body for $40 from TJ Maxx.  Also, from TJ Maxx pictured are rose gold hoops is a simple touch of an accessory that pairs perfect with any outfit for under $15.  Statement necklace was an amazing find from New York and Co. for under $10 in their sale section!  I got this necklace about two weeks ago and there was plenty of selection to choose from along with their stylish collection of fall looks.  Sunglasses are also from New York and Co. for under $20.  Love this shape because they don’t take over my especially round face and it does not look like I am wearing a pair of my nieces toy sunglasses.  The shade of brown is the perfect look for the fall season.  Shoes are from Target for under $20.  If you remember this pair from one of my past posts, they are actually not Kendall and Kylie, but perfect look alikes from Target for half the price!

Ava and Viv at Target

Hello there blogger family, sorry I have been a bit MIA lately!  When the heck did it become the middle of June already! Pass me a beach and a margarita please before time runs out and I am back wearing an 8 thousand layer scarf and fuzzy slippers!  Due to my MIA-ness (new word? ) I have been on the road traveling a bit which I can’t complain about.  Before each trip I have the habit of going to Target to get my hygiene products, but then I walk out with a whole new outfit…can I get a witness for who can relate!

As I strolled by the women’s clothing, I pass the maternity section and I always think, “oh that shirt woud be so cute!” but it does say maternity and the only baby bump I have is a food baby after eating a Chiotle burrito.  Feeling a bit discouraged my eyes fall upon Target’s pluz size section with the designer Ava & Viv and I did a bit of an overdramatic gasp in public.   Amazing colors, textures, styles, patterns galore and they were majority on sale!  Now this pluz size section does not consist of ponchos and mumu’s these designs are fit to suit women with curves in all different places that shows them off!  The gem that I walked out with was this neon sheer sleveless tanks that had an open back and front with layering underneath.  Perfect to wear with a suit jacket for work or on its own out on the town and got it on sale for $15! Next time you are at Target buying “toothpaste” definitely stop by and check out the Ava & Viv Collection!
