The No Sweat Dress!

You know the routine when you wake up in the morning, welcome the glorious sun shining through your window, and you open your phone to check the temperature.  Then you get distracted by watching a cute puppy video on Instagram and before you know it you are already late to work and forgot to check the darn weather.  Usually with a shrug of the shoulders you think, “oh it is probably in the 60-70’s with a light breeze.” Then you walk out of your house and immediately regret your decision of wearing dress pants and a blazer since it is literally a scorching 10,000 degrees! Ok more like 90 degrees, but still it hot hot hot!

So on these kind of days I like to throw on a dress, but sometimes it is hard to find the right length and fit from some summer collections. Expressing your personal style while keeping it work appropriate can be tricky to balance.  Sometimes I am over here like, “Wait, I can’t wear my new high waisted bathing suit to the meeting at 1?”

All jokes aside, I wanted to share with you all this amazing dress that is not only light weight, fun, flirty, budget friendly, wait it is everything you want in a piece of clothing! Check out this sleeveless fit and flare knit dress by Ellos! My go-to cut on a dress has always been a fit and flare.  I love how it gives me shape, but room to feel comfortable.  Also, the material has a bit of stretch, but does not stretch out…is that magic? I think so!

As pictured I am giving you more of an office look with the light blazer and basic black heels, but a jean or cargo jacket with sandal flats or wedges can give you more of a weekend vibe when you are hitting up brunch, the farmers market, or a winery!

Ok, now run…wait…maybe walk since it is so hot out I do not want you getting dehydrated…over to the Ellos website and get your hands on this dress, which also comes in multiple prints!
