Deoderant, baby powder, vaseline…what do all of these have in common? No no I am not reading you off my Walgreens to buy list. It is the solutions we all think to battle what I like to call the definition of evil…chafing. Now we have all experienced the hell that I call chafing in different ways like from material on clothing that rubs against your skin awkwardly, but I am talking about when your skin rubs together around your thighs.
I can recall so many times when it literally looks like I am walking like I just got done doing an intense leg workout or like I’ve just rode a horse across the United States for days. No joke, it has been so bad I thought I was going to have to take a day off work.
Now I thought my solution was wearing the control top shorts underneath dresses, but then there are the 90 degree days and I appear to literally be the sweatiest one in the room for at least a 50 mile radius. Then my friend told me about how she uses deodorant, which I gave a shot, but after a couple of hours it has worn off and I am left tucking my dress in between my legs to they won’t rub together. I actually saw that on 12ish Style’s Instagram story and I literally laughed out loud because I can relate to that struggle.
So now what are we supposed to do? Just not wear adorable dresses or shorts in fear of the chafe? No way girl! Kate Sturino, Creator of the 12ish Style has found a solution for us called Megababe Thigh Rescue. It looks basically like deodorant that you can rub on for all day coverage to fight that chafe! So I saw Kate’s post about this product and I was super intrigued. So, I am putting Megababe to the test compared to my usual go-to’s to fight chafing and see how it compares. I am going to do a four day test as follows starting with my usual go-to’s and ending with Megababe. It will go as follows:
Thursday- Deoderant
Friday- Baby Powder
Saturday- Vaseline
Sunday- Megababe
So stay tuned next week and I will share with you guys how Megababe compares to the rest!
Stay dreamin and keep it real!
