Now I know you have seen this Eloquii metallic moto beauty with some other major statement pieces like that fun and flirty fringe rainbow skirt that I wore in Times Square, remember that photo? Well, to jog your memory see it pictured above.
I feel like this look definitely was the dreamy side of my blog, but yes we all still have to live in reality sometimes. Maybe the fishnets, metallic boots, and skirt would be a bit much to wear when walking into an important business meeting. On the flip side there are ways to incorporate little bits of metallic without looking like a walking disco ball. Next Halloween idea…ok now I am searching on Pinterest on how to make that happen. Mixing in metallics does not need to just be jackets like I have pictured, but can be a variety of pieces! So if you are wanting to just take baby steps into this trend here are the pieces I recommend you start with:
- Purses- If you are not ready to dive into wear this trend why not start with a clutch or purse with a touch of metallic flare. Basically you are not committed to having it be worn on you it is just a nice little ad on to spice up a little black dress.
- Shoes- A step further…literally a step…is with shoes! Start off with a metallic loafer or slides then you can move into turning it up at notch with a pointed toe bootie like I have pictured!
- Skirt- I recommend metallic pencil or mini skirts. You can dress them up or down and where them with a blazer and a blouse for a more professional look or with a cozy sweater with a French Tuck in the front. If you love Tan from Queer Eye you will know what a French Tuck is, if not google it ASAP!
So for those of you that say, “I love that you can pull that off, but I never could,” now is your time to take this trend that I know is here to stay for a twirl. I promise you…will…feel…fabulousssssss!
