When Google searching “cameras for fashion blogging,” oh lawd I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the price that I would pay for a camera so called DSLR (Digital Single Lense Reflex), I thought that was a name of a DJ to be honest. As seen in my motto, “Plus size fashion dreamer, on a realistic budget” emphasis on the On and A and Realistic and Budget… ok you get the picture (literally).
After article after article stating you have to get so called $8,000 to get anywhere in the blogging life, insert sad face emoji big time! Then, I came across an article which of course I forgot to save in my favorites that said “start simple” and those words definitely stuck with me. Yes, the Iphone is great for those immediate photos of your #OOTD you snap between lunch and heading back to the office, but for me I wanted to take it to that next level, without breaking the bank.
That is when a strolled on over to Amazon.com and searched DSLR and yes filtered that price to under $200. Then, waaaa laaaa this little beauty popped up, Samsung WB1100F 16.2 CCD Smart WiFi & NFC Digital Camera with 35X Optical Zoom, 3.0″ LCD and 720 HD Video. Now remember folks, I most absolutely copy and pasted that description and to put it into basics…I could upload photos from camera to social media, e-mail, and it was digital. This camera is perfect for those of you that may be starting in the blogging world like myself or want a camera that is for fun! Now I am for sure no camera expert, but a master in my own mind of “keep it simple” which this camera absolutely is in an amazing way!
